The Institute of Management Consultants welcomes new Associates

The Institute of Management Consultant is an accredited body in-charge of training and accreditation of Management Consultants in Nigeria.

In line with its vision, mission  and objectives,  the IMC on Friday concluded another session in Lagos held at the Lagos Airport Hotel.

The event was rounded off with the award of certificates to deserving Candidates.

These awardee having obtained the certificate automatically become certified and associate Members of the IMC.

In a round up session, the candidates who were divided into groups  were asked to deliver on assigned tasks. Thus emphasizing the essence of team work in consultancy.

The participants made up of people from various works of life, deliberated using skill, knowledge, experience and manpower amongst others.

The session ended with presentations by the various groups. Thus contributing their quota to the growth of the IMC and  Industry in general.

TNNO speaking to Mr. Kola Adeoye learnt that the Institute was established in 1983 to promote, create and extend high standards of management consulting and gather members together to share ideas and knowledge on contemporary issues bordering on management consulting

The Clients Service Manager said the Institution became affiliated to the International body called the ‘International  Council of Management Consulting Institutes’ (ICMCI)  in 1987.

Mr. Adeoye added that the benefits of joining the Institute were numerous especially in areas of Networking , exposure, experience and prestige.

Speaking on the high cost of Membership, he said that the price was influenced by foreign exchange rates aside other things such as registration and payments of dues by IMC to affiliates. Stressing that the cost was nothing compared to the benefits inherent.

In attendance were Mrs Funke Isichei of Stanbic Ibtc Bank, Nneka Moses of the Goje Africa fame amongst other movers and shakers of the Industry.
