Reports reaching TNNO say some students of the University of Lagos,Akoka have on Tuesday been reportedly confirmed to have contacted Covid-19.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University (Academics and Research), Professor Oluwole Familoni, confirmed the development on Tuesday.
Adding that the University Senate would take a decision on the issue and decisions taken will be made public.
The affected students belong to about four different halls. However, their identities are yet to be disclosed neither was information given on the Hospitals or Isolation centers they are receiving treatment.
The School Authorities have however proactively sealed the rooms of the affected students while other students and the workers have been asked to continue to comply with COVID-19 guidelines and protocols, pending further directives.
