The Veteran Yoruba actress Lanre Hassan , who is popularly known as Iya Awero, on March 24, received a three-bedroom Apartment from the newly commissioned Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Housing Estate, Igbogbo.

This gift was bestowed on her by the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in appreciation of her contribution to the Nigerian film industry for Decades.

The housing project was formally inaugurated on Wednesday at an event attended by all Government functionaries and traditional rulers in the Ikorodu division.

The scheme was named after former Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) apex leader in Ikorodu, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye.

The Chief Press secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile shared a video of the presentation to prove the news.
