LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited promotes the Global Money week.
The Global Money week was created to celebrate Global Money Awareness and efforts at improving financial literacy among Youths.
To commemorate this years activity, LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited was not left out, joining other financial institutions and stakeholders worldwide to promote the 2021 Global Money Week(GMW).
The 2021 edition is the ninth edition of the ‘GMW’ with the theme “Take Care of Yourself, Take Care of Your Money”
Mr. Oluremi Akande, Head of Communications and Branding, LAPO MfB, in a statement said LAPO MFB has created and deployed various activities aimed at supporting and promoting the ‘GMW’ through the deployment of financial literacy adverts on its social media platforms, banner advert display on Website, in-branch sensitization, webinar, daily financial email nuggets, school visitation and branded theme look among other things.
Adding that “The Global Money Week (GMW) presents yet another opportunity to create awareness about money and empowerment”
Mr. Akande says it is hoped that with the backing of LAPO, other financial Institutions and Stakeholders, top of the mind awareness and engagement will be achieved in in Nigeria
