Prominent Nigerian Writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has lost her mother Mrs. Grace Ifeoma Adichie . She was 78 years old.
Mrs. Adichie died suddenly on Monday, March 1st, 2021 in Awka, Anambra State.
A family spokesperson said, “It was very sudden and we are devastated,”
Mrs. Grace Ifeoma Adichie is survived by six children, Ijeoma, Uchenna, Chuks, Okechukwu, Chimamanda and Kenechukwu, nine grandchildren, in-laws and many relatives.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family later.
