
Idriss Deby, the Chadian President has died of injuries suffered on front line during his visit to soldiers fighting the rebels in the Northern part of the country, an army spokesman told the Agence France Presse (AFP) on Tuesday.
The President who won a sixth term recently.
Sixty–eight year old ‘Deby’, has been running the oil-rich but poor country for a cumulative 36 years before being hacked down on his visit to the battle feild.
According to Mahamat Zen Bada, his Campaign Director, President Idriss Deby was scheduled to give a victory speech to his Supporters but decided on visiting soldiers in the front lines instead.
