A high powered delegation of Edu-Bridge and Media Tiger Communications have paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector General of Police Lagos Zone 2, AIG Mohammed Ari-Ali.
The essence of the visit was to seek the support of the AIG to have the Nigeria Police Force partner with Edu-Bridge on their upcoming 2023 programme titled “Free Digital Up-Skill ICT Training and Empowerment Programme”
The team also volunteered to train some Police Officers on ICT for Free and this could be either the Rank and File, Middle or Senior Management Officers based on the discretion of the State Command.
The five day event will comprise of four days of intensive training of Participants while the fifth day will be set aside for the award of plaques to deserving Participants and Person’s who have impacted positively on Society.
All things being equal the training is to commence hopefully on October 22, 2023 and run through till October 27, 2023.
The AIG who gave his support however informed that the project was one that falls within the purview of the Lagos State Police Command.
AIG Mohammed Ari-Ali therefore requested a meeting between the visiting team and the Lagos State Police Command under the watch of the Commissioner of Police Idowu Owohunwa.
AIG Ari-Ali said the project was indeed a laudable one and that he will be looking forward to a fruitful working relationship between all parties concerned.
