CONSUMER VALUE AWARDS IN FULL GEAR

Voting has commenced in Lagos; for the best Value for Money Brands. The voting portal which was thrown open on the May 01,2023 for Nigerians to cast their votes, has thirty days after shown interesting results.

The results for the fifty-two different categories in the contest as at the 30th May 2023, saw Dangote Cement leading the pack in the cement category with 50% while Dangote Sugar lead the Sugar Category with 74%, Reload Multivitamin lead the Multivitamin category with 45% and Mouka Form lead the mattress category with 72%.

The Chief Executive Officer and Analyst of BrandXchange Mr.Akonte Ekine , said this year’s edition of the Consumers Value Awards is already in top gear with a number of respondents to the voting platform as well as positive comments from regulators such as the Nigeria Communications Commission and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Agency.

Mr. Ekinne further stated that the voting exercise will last for two months to close on 31st July 2023 for more consumers to validate their experiences.

Power Oil topped the Vegetable oil category with 75%, while in Energy Dinks, Custard and Cereal categories the following brands Lucozade Boost, Checkers, and Kellogg’s Cornflakes are lead their teams with 55%,98% and 49% respectively.

The Consumer Value award comes up annually and is an initiative of BranXchange as one of its contributions to raising awareness for consumer satisfaction in the marketplace.

The award will hold on 7th September 2023 at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Isaac John Ikeja.
