A Cow Drama ensued at the cargo area of the International wing of the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The Drama commenced when one of the 250 cows flown into the country through the airport broke loose from its crate.
The Airport workers at the Tarmac were perplexed and had to run for safety.
Information gathered says the cows were flown in from New Jersey, United States, by the Ekiti State Government in crates on a Chartered Cargo special flight and offloaded at Gate 3.
The Cargo was being offloaded when the incident occurred.
Unfortunately, in the process one of the crates got damaged after off -loading which caused one of the cows to break loose and started chasing airport workers present on the tarmac.
The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (Nahco) and Skypower Aviation Handling Company (Sacho) staff on ground, rose to the occasion, thus bringing the cow under control.
The Cows have since been loaded successfully into waiting vehicles for their transportation to Ekiti State.
TNNO learnt that the cows were imported into the country by Ekiti State Government in partnership with a private organisation for a Dairy Farm in Ikun.
