23 Ships Discharge Petroleum Products, others at Lagos ports

Ships at the Lagos ports are discharging bulk wheat, bulk gypsum, general cargo, frozen fish, container, base oil, bulk clinker and petrol, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.

The NPA made this known in its publication, ‘Shipping Position’, a copy of which was obtained by NAN.

It listed other items being discharged as ethanol, bulk sugar and automobile gasoline.

The Nigerian Ports Authority said that Sixteen other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex between the period March 16 to April 4.

According to the NPA, the ships are It said that the ships contain frozen fish, general cargo, base oil, bulk wheat, bulk gypsum, vehicle, automobile gasoline and container.

Meanwhile, another nine ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with container, petrol, base oil, bulk malt and automobile gasoline.
