The instruments of Africa which is a Musical Instrument production outfit recently launched a new range of Guitars in Lagos.

Mr Temitope Ezekiel Olaleye the founder of Instrument of Africa Informed Newsmen at a press briefing held in Victoria Island Lagos, that the main objective of the organisation is to ensure ‘Africa thrives’.
This is the first time an African, Nigeria to be specific would produce a Guitar from scratch to finish.
Olaleye said in line with the companies objective, the Instrument of Africa Guitars were shaped to promote Africa.
He went on to state that the Guitar was also named after major African Cities like Lagos, Kigali to mention a few.
The founder said he believes that with the introduction of these Guitars, the cost of Guitars in the country will reduce drastically also assuring the Press that the instrument is incomparable to any existing one is very durable.
The CEO further stated that the products of the Instruments of Africa go a long way to create a sense of belonging to every one on the African continent and the black people of the world.
Speaking on the guitar, Temitope said his inspiration came . from his father and Paul Tao. Reiterating the fact that his music background also went a long way in grooming and nuturing his interest in music.

According to him the Guitar is naturally an expressive instrument this combined with the shape of Africa helps to depict a sense of ownership thereby speaking to the needs of the African people.
The founder said the Guitar was just the first in the range that with time various other instruments will be churned out by the ‘Instrument of Africa’ team.
Speaking on his expectations after the Launch, Ezekiel Olaleye said that he hopes to take the Arts beyond the Africa coast thus creating more models and getting the Youth to be more interested in Music.
On the strategies to be adopted he said Concert will be organised and a Music Academy will be created to promote the art of music.
The instrument of Africa Ambassador Mr Femi Leye said that the introduction of this Guitar produced by a Nigerian has indeed made him a proud Nigerian, saying that Nigerians are creative and hardworking and with a little boost the sky would be the limit.
Also testifying on the usage of the musical instrument Mr Paul Tao a Guitarist who has been on the music scene for decades, who was the first lead Guitarist for Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey,who said he had used different brands of Guitars confirmed that the ” Instrument of Africa Guitars are indeed smooth, soft, have depth, great pitch and sounds cool”, thus recommending this Guitar for all and sundry.
