
The Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), has intervened in a controversy making the rounds that Yomi Fabiyi a Director/Producer has produced a new film called ‘Oko Iyabo’.
The film has raised alot of controversy because it is said to have a story line wrapped around the Baba Ijesha Saga. This act is one which Tampan has frowned against saying it is against the ethics and values of the Association.
TAMPAN’s Director of Research and Documentation, Yemi Amodu urged that members of the Association and general public should hold their peace as the Association has waded into the matter and Yomi Fabiyi has been summoned for explanation.
The meeeting between TAMPAN and Yomi Fabiyi is slatted for Thursday 11th July 2021.
