Fans of the Plateau United Football Club have attacked and injured some players of Enyimba, Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL after day 29 match fixtures.
The Abia State Government expressed displeasure over its official Facebook page of the brutal treatment meted out to Enyimba players in Jos.
Reports have it that Enyimba played the host team Plateau United in a match resulting in a goaless draw.
This scores did not go down well with the hosts whose fans immediately went violent thus attacking and wounding a few of the players.
Among the injured were Danladi Timothy a defender and the goalkeeper Sabirou Bassa-Djeri
