Residents of the Denro- Isasi area of Akute are calling out to the Management of the IKEDC to please come to their aid and resolve whatever challenge has been hindering the efficient supply of electricity to the Area
Some residents speaking to the Nigeria News Online said they were tired of having to pay crazy bills despite the fact that they were not supplied with electricity
They went on to say that in the year 2020 they were not given light for over ten months yet they were still paying bills.
On the current electricity supply situation in the vicinity, they complained that despite having to be on rotation, in the past two weeks there has been no light and the IKEDC seem to be turning blind eyes to their plight.
Others whose businesses depend solely on light to run cried out that the IKEDC was frustrating their business thus adding to the hardship in this trying times.
They therefore called on the State Government and IKEDC Management to please look into the situation and ensure that their part of the bargain to provide light to residents was fulfilled.
Adding that the two week of non supply of electricity should be taken into cognisance when prorating the bills
