CMCM yesterday stood out to show that indeed Christ lives in the Founder Prophet Peter Adebisi and the – Christ Miracle Church Mission as they hosted the GLAAMOR(Gospel Legends Appreciation and Moments Of Reminiscence) 2026.
This was projected in the empathetic act of the Prophet Peter Adebisi who listened to the Vision of Timi Orekoya popularly known as ‘Telemi’ and decided to run with it.
Timi Orokoya holding on to some verses in Psalms 103:2-5 said it is time to come together to appreciate God in a “rare worship” for his faithfulness the decades over in the lives of these Gospel Music Legends
Telemi, went on to State that the vision to reunite these Gospel Legends for constructive and objective engagement had been laid so heavy in his heart that in 2024 he had to fast track the vision by engaging with some of these Gospel Music Generals which led to the creation of a platform for deliberations and today the GLAAMOUR (Gospel Legends Appreciation and Moments of Reminiscence) 2026 holds
Prophet Peter Adebisi not only sponsored but hosted and made himself available to celebrate the founding Nigerian Christian Gospel Musicians who used their youth talent and energy to project a better Nigeria and a closer walk with God through songs with lyrics based on soul winning, evangelism, faith, patience, hope and more
Present at GLAAMOUR 2026 were the following Legends; Evangelist D.A Fasoyin, Reverend Idowu Animasahun, Pastor J.A Adelakun Ayewa, Evangelist Niyi Adedokun, Evangelist Dr. Bola Are, Evangelist Toun Soetan, Evangelist Dr. Funmi Aragbaiye, Bishop Bola Adeleke, Reverend Sola Rotimi, Evangelist Dupe Olulana, Evangelist Akin Adebayo.
In addition to the above mentioned were Evangelist Kingsley Ogunde, Evangelist Foluke Dr. Awoleye, Evangelist Ojo Ade, Reverend Gbemi Ololeye, Apostle Dr. J.O Afolabi, Pastor Sam Foli, Pastor Paul El-Shaddai, Evangelist G.A Oluwarinde, Pastor Raphael Olatunji, Pastor Broda Martins Balogun, Evangelist Chucks Chidube , Prophetess Victoria Omodudu, Princess Racheal Yisa, Evangelist Dr. Dunni Omodudu, Prophetess Keji Olowookere Ajonamaku, Prophetess Atinuke Obanla, Reverend Dr. Olaleye. Pastor Kola Fowowe, Pastor Oladokun Popoola, Evangelist Johnson Eluwole, Apostle Gbenga Olabode, Pastor Kunle Ajomale, Prophet J. Afolabi-Okoto, Pastor Kunle Ajayi and Evangelist Professor Ebenezer Obey (Represented).
Also at the event ‘Sleeping Generals’ were asked to ‘rest on’ as their families and representative picked up posthumous awards in their honour. These departed Veterans include Lakin Ladeedo, Balogun Takete, K.O Akinlade, S.O Akinpelu,Sonny Okosun,Bukola Olomola a.k.a Baba Ara to mention a few.
In his address the host and founder of CMCM called for assistance, encouragement and support from the public for our legends who despite their contributions to society had nothing to show for it going on to say that he has taken this mantle up and would ensure that the CMCM does its best to support these Legends.
The highlight of the event was when the artistes each and all present were given five minutes to once again rekindle the stuff they are made of in a five minutes ‘blast from the past’ this thrilled the audiences as they watched and danced joining the Veterans down memory lane as they proved that age is just a number.
The Nigeria News Online therefore joins Telemi and CMCM to urge that when scheduling performances for events it would be nice if it is well blended by presenting Upcoming Artistes , Current Stars and a blast from the past- Our Legends . So all aspects of the industry develop simultaneously.
