The Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents of Nigeria, (AMMBAN) over the weekend swore in the recently elected officers.
The two day event which started with an indepth training session for new EXCOS which commenced on the 31st May 2024 ended with the taking of oath and the swearing in proper
Pastor Abiodun David the immediate past Chairman therefore handed over the barton of leadership to Mr. Oluwagunwa Ibirogba, the current Lagos State AMMBAN Chairman ably supported by Mrs. Omoyemi Makinwa who now sits in as the Vice Chairman.
In his parting speech Pastor Abiodun David admonished the new Excos to take the Association to greater heights warning that the journey may not be easy as people will surely criticize their efforts and try to distract them but they should continue to remain focused and strive to hit the mark.
Pastor Abiodun also addressed the issue of team work which he said would be very critical to the success of the new Excos.
The immediate past Chairman of Lagos State went on to advise the new EXCO to always have AMMBAN at heart, work at building bridges across the country and work harmoniously with the National body .
On his own part Mr.Oluwagunwa Ibirogba thanked members for choosing him and his team assuring that God willing the trust they vested in him will not be betrayed calling on all new Executives to rise to the challenge of the task that lies ahead.
Mr. Ibirogba went on to appreciate the Electoral Committee and Facilitators who came from various states to ensure the handover was effectively and successfully carried out
Mrs Victoria Manuel-Oni State Electoral Committee Chairperson in her remark warned the officers to be at their bests at all times because all eyes are on them and should they fail short in their duties, the electorate would not hesitate to relieve them of the responsibilities
The event which was attended by Industry Stakeholders,gentlemen of the press , Friends and relatives was one that will remain imprinted on the sands of time
