The Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Honourable Dele Alake has informed the public that he has no Face book page.
This information came sequel to several people opening face book pages in his name and using his pictures for all manners of activities.
Information on this got to Dele Alake when one of his acquaintances also a Media Guru was almost scammed by one of them.
TNNO learnt that this Junior Colleagues who preferred to remain anonymous decided to send Congratulatory messages through his messenger platform on his recent appointment as Special Adviser to the President but the message was responded to by the fraudster who pretending to be Honourable Dele Alake, thanked and asked what the person was into now?, The Colleague believing it was actually the same Honourable Dele Alake responded giving an update on latest achievements.
The Scammer in response promised to avail great opportunities to Honourable Alake’s Junior Colleague who had now become his prey.
As usual the bubble burst when the Scammer in the usual manner decided
to beg for money pretending to be in a high powered meeting with Mr.President, and asked that his prey should help him send thirty thousand naira to his driver’s account to be refunded when he finishes his meeting with Mr. President.
Realising the impossibility of this request the ‘Prey’ who had almost fallen victim said “this is not Dele Alake, bye Scammer”.
Again pretending to be the Special Adviser, the Scammer replying angrily said, ” are you talking to me?”
This prompted Honourable Alakes Junior Colleague to make frantic efforts to reach the Special Adviser who confirmed it was not him.
Honourable Dele Alake therefore requested that people should be informed that he has no Face book page and anyone following such pages are doing so at their own risk.
