Shuaibu Adamu Ahmed has been appointed as the new Executive Secretary of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).
Asapokhai served a four year term from January, 2017 to November 2020.
The appointment of Shauibu by President Mohammed Buhari replaces his predecessor Daniel Asapokhai whose tenure ended in January.
Ahmed, who was a former Governorship candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party too will be in office for a four year term, 2021-2025, should he perform remarkably well he may be given a second term.
